Often times we hear people say, "𝐼𝑡 𝑖𝑠 𝑝𝑟𝑎𝑦𝑖𝑛𝑔 𝑡𝑖𝑚𝑒." But the case is that, it has been praying time. Before bad even happened, we should of been praying. Praying is to be a 𝑙𝑖𝑓𝑒𝑠𝑡𝑦𝑙𝑒 and something we should have been doing before.
This blog is important to me because I know how life is when I do not pray. Life is confusing, things do not go right, and I am never in a good mood. Being consistent with my prayers, I always see a positive change in my life, and things going how God wants them to be. 𝑀𝑎𝑟𝑘 11:24 tells us,
"Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours."
When we pray, it is important that we pray with a clean heart by confessing our sins to God and whatever we ask for, we should believe that we will receive in Jesus's name. I know that I have done plenty blogs on prayer, but prayer is a lifestyle that I have incorporated into my everyday life and a lot of us are not doing it as often as we should. Some people tell me how good their life is when they do not pray and others tell me life is better now that they do pray.
It was laid upon my heart to write this blog because God wants one on one time with all of us. He wants us all to have a personal relationship with him so that we can cast our burdens upon him. The things we are holding on to, we should let go. When the time comes, I do not want to be left here all because I did forgive my brother or sister and I did not take the time out to pray. 𝑀𝑎𝑟𝑘 11:25 says,
"And whenever you stand praying, forgive, if you have anything against anyone, so that your father also who is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses."
How can we ask God for something and still holding grudges against our brother and our sister. This is the time to let it all go and pray that God teaches you how to have an effective prayerful lifestyle. 𝐹𝑜𝑟𝑔𝑖𝑣𝑒𝑛𝑒𝑠𝑠 is apart of having this lifestyle.
It has been praying time for our families, our friends, our neighbors, our church family, our coworkers, and etc. It has been time for us to forgive our brother and sister for anything they may have done. It has been time for all us to grow with Christ and to seek his face. The time has been here but we are seeing and not looking and hearing and not listening to the spirit of the Lord. It is not too late to get it right with God and with your brother and sister. But we need to do it now... why wait?
Take the time out to do what God has been wanting us to do. Stop ignoring the spirit and pray for guidance and for God to guide your footsteps. He will ensure that you will do what it is you have to do to be closer to Him and that when you come to Him, you will have already casted your burdens to him.
I pray that God shows you how to have an effective prayerful lifestyle that will help you become closer to him and help you to do what is 𝑟𝑒𝑞𝑢𝑖𝑟𝑒𝑑 of you.
