Talk, Trust, and Thank Him

Often we go through storms in life where we do not know what to do, where to go, and who to turn to. We get in situations where we turn to everyone else but God. Sometimes we even go to God about a situation, he fixes it and we forget all about Him.

Times like this is when God wants us to fully depend on Him. Most people think God is only here to fix our problems. But I want you to know that God is more than just a problem fixer. God is an awesome God! He may can fix problems but he also can put you right back in that situation just so you can know who He really is. God is a God that keeps his promises and gives you what you ask for.

That is why it is important to be specific about the things we ask God for. I hear women around me asking God to send them a “man.“ And I think to myself, that’s all? God hears you and will give you exactly what you ask for. Then, when God sends you a “man”... he’s not the man that you wanted. But that was all you asked God for, right?

When we are talking to God, God wants us to talk to Him. Have a full, devoted conversation with Him and tell Him what our needs are and how we are feeling. If you are asking God to send you a “man“, tell God what kind of man you want, how you want him to look, how you want him to treat you, and so on.

Be consistent with God and when God gives you what you ask for, thank Him for his many blessings. Never give up on Him because He will never give up on you. Regardless of the trials and tests we go through in life, God only wants us to seek Him for help. But when you allow a situation in your life to hinder you from going to God, you are letting God know that you do not trust Him.

Always remember to TALK to God no matter what you are going through, regardless if it’s good or bad. He wants to hear you. TRUST God in all that you do because he is in control. And lastly, THANK Him. God has been so good to all of us and it takes less than 5 seconds just to say “THANK You God.“ He’s a God like no other and wants you to talk, trust, and thank Him.
